For a festival vibe before the festival season, Small World Theatre welcomes Ushti Baba and DJ Miss Mitten again for an energetic night.
DJ Miss Mitten returns to her tribe in Wales from her far-flung corner of the South West Algarve, with a great selection of tunes inspired by her love of dub and old style sound system culture.
Ushti Baba draw raging folk fusing hypnotic pan-European melodies with modern dance rhythms. Heavy beatbox, wild fiddle, an energetic thrill-filled musical journey from familiar lands to the beyond and back. Ushti Baba deliver a fierce fresh perspective while paying warm tribute to their trad folk roots. They will be introducing two new meaningful tracks from their new album coming up this autumn: “Pas de Passport” and “Rootless”.
