Rhian Eleri is an artist originally from Bridgend but is now living in west Wales. Her work is bold and colorful using inspiration from nature to play into more abstract pieces. Rhian begins her paintings using acrylic paint, put down spontaneously and then working over in oil paint once the base layer is dry. The process is about letting the painting evolve, adding depth and texture through deliberate mark making until Rhian feels it has finished.
